Welcome to the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Foundation. As a 501(c)(3) supporting organization, we fund programs that have an educational or charitable purpose consistent with the mission and purpose of the SCCA.
Our primary funding sources are our tens of thousands of dedicated members; enthusiasts who value the impact of the SCCA on all motorsports; and industry influentials who desire to make a lasting contribution to the ensure the future of sports car competition.
Thank you all for your commitment to our historic Club!
The Sports Car Club of America Foundation envisions a vibrant future for amateur motorsports—one where the thrill of competition, the spirit of community, and the legacy of excellence are passed on to the next generation of drivers, volunteers, and leaders.
Founded in 1944, the Sports Car Club of America has shaped the landscape of American motorsports for over eight decades, launching the careers of legends like Mario Andretti, Paul Newman, Mark Donohue, Dan Gurney, Phil Hill, Roger Penske, and Janet Guthrie. The Foundation is renewing its commitment to that legacy with a bold new mission: to ensure that the opportunity to compete in SCCA amateur motorsports is available now and for generations to come.
The Future of motorsports begins with us. Every year, 65,000 SCCA members stage and compete in nearly 2,000 SCCA road racing, autocross, rallycross, road rally, time trials, hillclimb and other events across the nation. No one else comes close.
By strengthening our Foundation—literally and figuratively—we will ensure that the SCCA continues to be the tip of the spear for decades to come.
The Foundation is embarking upon an ambitious fundraising campaign to support key initiatives designed to sustain and grow the Club we love:
Investing in education and training for the thousands of members who serve as the backbone of American auto racing—drivers, stewards, emergency crews, flaggers, scrutineers and other disciplines.
Develop career paths for the next generation of competitors and volunteers through strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and technical schools.
Expanding education, coaching, and mentorship to SCCA region leaders, ensuring they are skilled, confident, and prepared to lead.
