Since the first race in 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix has been considered one of the most prestigious and important auto races in the world – a bucket list experience for any racing fan. Pam Susslin is an adventurer and a competitor, but more than that she is a generous and gracious individual, especially thankful for those who have helped open doors for women race car drivers. Ad Driscoll’s Donation Wins Silver Medallion Sweepstakes
Ad Driscoll just wanted to make a donation to “support the next generation of drivers” and in recognition of the generous help people gave him in his early autocross years with the Philly SCCA. Ad’s sweepstakes donation/entry is his way of paying it forward.
Preserving Our Club’s History with the SCCA Archives
Every SCCA member can play a role in the preservation of the Club’s history by contributing materials to the SCCA Archives that may otherwise be unrepresented in the existing collection. Arctic Alaska Region’s Cheryl Babbe identified a mission to recover and preserve “lost recordings” from past SCCA National Conventions and awards presentations.
The Pulliams: Pendants & Hearts of Gold (and Silver)
SCCA “super couple” Larry and Tere Pulliam of SCCA’s Atlanta Region have been together for over 40 years. Quoting Tere, “SCCA is our life.” While generous with donating their time, they wanted to do more, and offered the Foundation one gold and one silver SCCA pendant as sweepstakes prizes to raise awareness and funds for SCCA Women on Track.
