ARCHIVES
Friday, September 10th at the IMRRC was a huge success
Lots of visitors and the SCCA Hall of Fame Display has been well received
IMRRC conducted a raffle for a Corvette
Items from R. David Jones’ family have been delivered to the IMRRC
The boxes that were used were not the quality that is needed to store paper information
IMRRC is asking for $5,000 for archive quality boxes and folders to store items in before they are digitized
Motion was made to send IMRRC $3,500 to start archiving now and more after the first of the year
It was decided that the IMRRC needs to fill out a grant request
Bob will talk with Jenny about filling out a grant request
Vote will be taken via e-mail
Project that $12,000 will be needed in next 2 ½ years
Potential of loss of funds from Jones family at $25,000 per year.
Bob will share how everything went at IMRRC with Duane Rost.
Raleigh will contact Jenny at IUPUI regarding approximately 1,200 photos that were digitized a few years ago when Pete Hylton was still in the states.

Social at Solo Nationals was pretty well attended
The Solo committee has had a debrief meeting and decided that there are better ways to reach more women. Perhaps a luncheon on Monday before competition begins would be a better use of time and effort
