Meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
The December board meeting minutes were not distributed to the entire board. Jeff Jacobs will take care of that before the February meeting and they will be approved at that meeting, along with the January 2023 meeting minutes. Velma will send minutes from both months to Rachel to post on the SCCA Foundation website at that time.
Welcome to both Melanie and Howard to the SCCA Foundation Board. Congrats to Peter on his Road Rally Award. Congrats to Jeff J. for the Road Rally award for Philadelphia Region.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Jeff Dahnert reviewed the financial report, ending 11-30-22
Jeff answered some questions that the committee posed
Donation list was available for review
Sweepstakes ticket sales are going well, with 2 more weeks to go.
Check for the Carroll Smith mentor with Formula SAE will be going out this next week. Raleigh will get the information to Jeff Dahnert.
Jeff D. was given the ok to send funds to Milwaukee Region and Northwest Region for the TRSS schools that they held in 2022.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
2023 Budget
The main purpose of this January meeting is to review the budget for the various programs covered by the SCCA Foundation. Much discussion ensued.
Carla shared the spread sheets with those in attendance
Changes were made to a few of the line items
Carla will get the finalized version out to the committee
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
2022-23 Sweepstakes Prize Update
Skip Barber 3-Day Racing School sweepstakes ticket sales are off to a good start
Promo codes are being used to help track where ticket buyers are seeing the information
Kristin will continue to push the sweepstakes.
Drawing will take place during the National Convention in January, 2023
Hendricks Motorsports NASCAR Package
Bob is continuing to make progress on this package.
This would have a spring/summer launch
Work continues with Mike Cobb on a 2024 Rolex Cup package.

Time frame for ticket sales would be September-November 2023
Convention
There will be an article in the next SportsCar about legacy giving and how members can get involved. Jeff will forward information to the committee before the next meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
Website
Jim will continue to get stories for the website and SportsCar
TIRE RACK STREET SURVIVAL COMMITTEE
Melanie and Scott are working together to finalize expenses for 2022. Scott will continue to be available to help Melanie out until she is up to speed.
She will be attending all of the Divisional meetings except for the CenDiv meeting
Raleigh and Velma will be at that meeting to represent her
The schedule for schools should pick up after the convention
The funds that TRSS has been receiving from Michelin will no longer be available for 2023.
ARCHIVES
The Archives presentation during the convention will be done by Bob Eddy and Jenny Ambrose.
WOMEN ON TRACK
Women on Track call scheduled for 1-16 to do a run through of their convention presentation
REGION DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Fourth quarter grants were paid out to 3 Regions
Regions were informed of this award
Regions that did not receive an award were notified. Their grant request does not stay in the queue. However, they can, and are encouraged, to resubmit with additional information. This process continues to be refined.
VETMotorsports and FORMULA SAE
Raleigh has had conversations with the VETMotorsports group to discuss how the program will be handled going forward.
Two Formula SAE events on the calendar for 2023. Waiting to hear from Formula SAE on exactly what they need from SCCA.
