Meeting was called to order at 8:05 PM Eastern Time
Motion to approve the minutes of the November meeting, with the correction of adding Bob Eddy as being present at the November meeting, made by Bob and seconded by Tere. Motion passed. These will be sent to Rachel to post on the SCCA Foundation website.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Jeff reviewed the financial report, ending 10-31-22
Jeff answered some questions that the committee posed
Donation list was available for review
This donation amount did not include any funds from the sweepstake ticket sales
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
2023 Budget
Jeff J. and Carla will be working on the 2023 draft budget, to be discussed and approved at the January meeting
Museum of American Speed (MAS) in Lincoln, Nebraska
A Zoom call will be scheduled for 12-19-22 with SCCA, Inc., SCCA Foundation and Museum of American Speed to discuss plans going forward
A motion was made by Raleigh, seconded by Bob to have SCCA Inc. and the SCCA Foundation work together with the Museum of American Speed, with SCCA Inc. being the point of contact with Museum of American Speed. The SCCA Foundation will offer a grant of $6,000 to offset some of the expenses of SCCA Inc. delivering cars to the Museum of American Speed for the 2023 display. Motion passed
Loaner Helmet Program
Helmets have been sent to those Regions who preordered them.
204 helmets were originally ordered
193 helmets have been slated for delivery to specific Regions
11 helmets are left and will be added to the Region merchandise program on the SCCA website
Arnie will continue to work with Holley for now on additional helmets in the future

November 2022 Donations Report
Donations were very good
2022-23 Sweepstakes Prizes Update
Skip Barber 3-Day Racing School sweepstakes ticket sales are off to a good start
Promo codes are being used to help track where ticket buyers are seeing the information
Kristin will continue to push the sweepstakes
Discussed a Flash Sale. A flash sale is an additional prize that is available when a sweepstakes ticket is sold. It is a separate drawing that takes place during the sales period
Drawing will take place during the National Convention in January, 2023
Hendricks Motorsports NASCAR Package
Bob is continuing to make progress on this package.
This would have a spring/summer launch
October, 2023 race in Charlotte
Details being worked out, with the approval from NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway to use their names and likenesses.
Legacy Giving Initiative
Plans are to present this as part of the SCCA Convention
Convention
Abby Scherr will need information by 12-15-22 on the final title and overview of sessions that the Foundation will be offering during the National convention
Bob will contact Jenny Ambrose at the IMRRC to see if a video can be made of progress being made at the IMRRC with the SCCA Archives and the gentlemen working on our Archives.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Jim will continue with the Women on Track articles
Raleigh will forward to the committee some examples
+ of what Indy Region is publishing in their newsletter, the Clutch Chatter, called Sittin’ In the Garage. This may be something that could be done with the SCCA website as well.
TIRE RACK STREET SURVIVAL COMMITTEE
Jeff introduced Melanie Murray to the committee as the new Tire Rack Street Survival coordinator.
Scott Dobler has accepted a full time position with the Road Racing program so will be assuming that position at the beginning of the year.
Melanie has been involved with TRSS for a long time.
Funds are still owed by BMW CCA to Regions that have hosted schools this year
SCCA has paid most of those Regions and will wait for reimbursement from BMW
Arnie will meeting with Melanie to bring her up to speed on the ins and outs of the SCCA foundation.

ARCHIVES
Joe and Rick at the IMRRC have been given the go-ahead on additional hours for them between now and the end of the year.
Bob has sent the gift cards to Jenny for her, Joe and Rick
She will be presenting those to Joe and Rick at their 12-7-22 meeting
IMRRC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 12-7-22 to discuss 2023 plans.
They will have requests for 2023 to Bob by our next meeting in January
IMRRC has purchased the property on Main Street in Watkins Glen
Working on funds/grants as a historical facility
WOMEN ON TRACK
Women on Track call scheduled for 12-6-22
Budget will be finalized
Discussed the Pay It Forward proposal
The SCCA Foundation asked that it be rewritten to clarify the Foundation role and what is expected from the Women on Track program
If passed, this will be part of the Women on Track budget for 2023
REGION DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Third quarter grants were paid out to 6 Regions
Regions were informed of this award
Regions that did not receive an award were notified. Their grant request does not stay in the queue. However, they can, and are encouraged, to resubmit with additional information. This process continues to be refined.
VETMotorsports and FORMULA SAE
Raleigh has requested that VETMotorsports have their plan to him before the next SCCA Foundation call on 1-12-23
VETMotorsports is struggling with volunteers and there are several groups asking for funds and participation
Raleigh believes that VETMotorsports will be asking for additional funds in 2023
Two Formula SAE competitions are still on the 2023 schedule, both in Michigan
SCCA will be provide trailers at those events
Discussion continues regarding representation at the event and more exposure for SCCA
