Meeting was called to order by Jeff at 7:02 PM Eastern Time.
A motion was made by Howard, seconded by Bob to approve the October meeting minutes, with two amendments suggested by Howard and Tere. Howard suggested that the title for the SCCA BOD President be changed to SCCA BOD Chairman. Tere requested that the Foundation members not in attendance at a monthly meeting be listed separately. Motion to make these amendments to the October meeting minutes passed. Velma will forward the amended minutes for October to Rachel to post on the SCCA Foundation website.
FINANCIAL REPORT - Justin Hawkins
Financial report was presented
Ahead on donations for the month
Restricted, unrestricted funds and budget were discussed
$2856 was donated to the Foundation from Solo Nationals and RunOffs
Nebraska Region was contacted about the Test and Tune proceeds from Solo Nationals
According to Rick Myer, the Region made the decision that they wouldn’t be making that donation in 2025
Jeff and Clay will confirm with Rick Myers.
Jim asked about the 990 filing for the past few years. Justin will get back with the committee.
Motion made by Bob, seconded by Howard to approved the financial report. Motion passed.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Tire Rack Street Survival - Melanie and Howard
25 schools have been completed 2025
Working to get all audits completed
2 schools on the schedule for 2026
Per a discussion with BMW/Bill Wade, fee to participate in a school for 2026 will be $175.00.
TRSS will have a presentation at the National Convention.
Executive Committee
Chief Development Officer Proposal
Clay brought the board up to date on the SCCA Foundation Reorganization
Introduction of Charlie Huebner, independent contractor.
Charlie will serve for an initial 4-month term
Charlie’s role is to help establish a major gifts program with a Board of Trustees, formalize legacy giving programs and transition core donor management system to something more donor-friendly.
Presentation by Clay on new branding campaign for the Foundation.
Potential for two or three videos from Adam Brooks to use during the National Convention
Jeff presented a proposal for the Foundation to sponsor the National Convention and possibly the in person Divisional Conventions.
Fee for the Foundation to be a sponsor for the National Convention is $10,000.
Fee for the Foundation to be a sponsor for the 5 in person Divisional Conventions and the 1virtual Divisional Convention is $1,000 per Division
National Convention Presentations
Discussed Foundation presentations in light of the new Vision Statement. Suggestion was made to have fewer sessions in 2026 but high production value.
One session with the New Vision for the Foundation
Archives, VETMotorsports, FSAE will be 10 minute or so segments during this first session
One session with Tire Rack Street Survival, with the possibility that Tim Beechuk will chair that session.
Two sessions for Women on Track
A motion was made by Howard, seconded by Tere to hire Charlie Huebner for a 3-month term, starting November 15, 2025 and continuing to February 15, 2026, at the fee of $5,000 per month, a total of $15,000 for the three months. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Howard, seconded by Jim to approve the branding campaign presented by Clay. Much discussion ensued. Tabled for now, with the knowledge that the date to go ahead on the new branding is right after the next BOD meeting.
A motion was made by Howard, seconded by Raleigh to go ahead with the video production. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Howard to authorize $10,000 sponsor fee to be paid for the National Convention and $1,000 each for the 5 in person Divisional Conventions and the 1 virtual Divisional Convention, for a total of $6,000 for the Divisional Conventions. The total will be $16,000. Motion passed.
Fundraising Committee
Donations report for October was reviewed and they are very good.
The launch for the next Monaco trip has been very successful. We will continue to send emails about the sweepstakes and also flash sales.
So far $75,000 has been raised with 1,216 donors. Entries close on January 18, 2026, with the drawing on January 24, 2026.
Communications - Jim
Article submitted to SCCA, Inc., the Foundation website and Facebook re: Formula SAE and the Formula SAE workshop that took place in Lincoln, Nebraska the beginning of October, 2025.
Charity Navigator follow-up
o Jeff and Jim completed all on-line sections of application. 3-year history is needed to be rated.
Working on 2023 rested in standard 990 format to get the 3-year history in place for Charity Navigator rating.
Future/Pending
Singapore GP winner has not yet been in contact with Jim or Jeff.
Foundation Vision marketing communication support plan will be developed with Clay.
Looking at total revamp of SCCA Foundation website.
Archives - Bob
Duke Argetsinger will be retiring from the IMRRC at the end of December, 2025.
IMRRC will be closed during the holidays until January 5, 2026.
Meeting scheduled during 1st quarter of 2026 at the IMRRC
Will have year end information about the IMRRC at the National Convention
Bob will be purchasing 2-$500 gift
Women on Track - Tere
Final scholarships have been paid
VETMotorsports / Formula SAE / Museum of Ameican Speed, Lincoln – Raleigh

Call that Raleigh and Jeff had with Pete Cline was productive.
Vet Support will be operating on a grant request basis going forward.

Updated budget plans will be sent by Jeff to discuss during the December meeting.
Potential Tom Berry award will be a topic for discussion in 2026.
