EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Hall of Fame
Work continues to verify that the Hall of Fame should be under the SCCA Foundation umbrella
Will discuss with Howard Duncan and Dennis Dean
Need to inform BOD of potential for this happening
Financial impact for SCCA?
What involvement would this mean for the SCCA Foundation?
Museum of American Speed (MAS) in Lincoln, Nebraska
The MAS is very interested in housing the SCCA Hall of Fame information at their museum with a permanent exhibit
The possibility of a rotating display is also under discussion.
Begin with a few notable race cars from SCCA Solo Nationals
Jinx and Ginette Jordan’s Honda, Patty and Bob Tunnell’s BMW, Dave Kutney’s Firebird, Rocky Entriken’s Spitfire, a modified car that Bill Gendron will work on
Plan would be to have these cars in place by March/April 2023, prior to the Spring Nationals in Lincoln and leave at MAS through March/April 2024 when another 12–14 month display would be in place.
Would need a committee to be planning the next displays after the Solo cars.
Kristin would be involved with the design for branding SCCA.
Linda Mosley can also help.
Loaner Helmet Program
Arnie will verify the status of the helmets and when they are expected to be available to ship or for Regions to purchase through SCCA merchandise program.

Legacy Giving Initiative
Eric Anderson is still interested in helping out with this initiative and will be able to devote time to it soon.
A member has contacted the Foundation regarding “gifting” to the Foundation in his will. There are several ways to make this possible. Possibilities being checked on.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
Website/SportsCar
Good videos, graphics on the website
Fundraising information needs to be updated
TIRE RACK STREET SURVIVAL COMMITTEE
Currently Regions have not been reimbursed by BMW/CCA on schools that have taken place in 2022. SCCA will reimburse the Regions and work with BMW/CCA to get funds back.
Heyward is working on this with Tire Rack
Currently no replacement for Scott Dobler has been announced.
Ryan Cheek has been mentioned but nothing has happened.
Kristin will discuss with Heyward next week.
ARCHIVES
There is a potential for more funds for the IMRRC and for the staff to do more archive work on the SCCA information
Bob will follow-up with Jenny Ambrose at the IMRRC to see what can be done.
WOMEN ON TRACK
The Women on Track committees have been very busy with the championship season
Women on Track hosted a brunch on the Monday of Solo Nationals. Approximately 80 women attended and there were 35 cars also on display.
Women on Track were part of the Block Party at the Runoffs and it was very well received.
Two women attended the RallyCross Nationals for the first time
A volunteer for Road Racing also received a scholarship to attend the Runoffs
An all-women team will be chosen for the USRRC in Michigan in November.
The plan is to do a summary report at the end of the championship season for all of the programs that Women on Track is involved with.
REGION DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
14 Regions have indicated an interest
7 are what Arnie would consider “potentially valid requests” consistent at least with the spirit of the program as described
The plan is to give grants every quarter.
Abby, Chris, Rick, Arnie and one other Foundation member will be on that selection committee.
Dollar amount will/may fluctuate on each donation
